Another stellar game by Mason. Hope they get some good rest for Saturday's game

Any reasoning behind Thomas' mask changes?

Might not have been a full 60 minute effort, but a good win none the less. Dallas is a desperate hockey team, and the Flyers managed to rebound from their lull to finish them off.

Also good to see Hagg signed. He should benefit from playing in the AHL.

I can't lie, didn't think the Flyers had a run like this in them. They look good, putting themselves in prime playoff position.

Mason came up huge last night. Great game.

Giroux blasted a shot off of Thomas' white hat in the 1st period.

In the first period, G hit him with an onetimer near/to his mask. Maybe this..

It's a pleasant surprise, for sure. This is a tough stretch of games, and they couldn't have picked a better time to 'bring it'.

Think it would be awesome to see a Flyers-Rangers 1st round matchup. Tonight could have a big part in making that a possibility. Rangers have to beat Columbus.

Absolutely. I knew they COULD play like this, but didn't see them doing it for a stretch. Saturday's the biggest test of the season. Lots of speed/size and a great goaltender supplemented by a great defense. Will need all hands on deck with a A+ effort for 60 minutes.

Also, great about Hagg. I guess his plans have changed.

Saw that too. I was waiting for one of the announcers to mention it.

Flyers now have the 4th best Pts/GP in the conference, slightly ahead of Montreal.

That game tonight should be really good. I don't normally watch games on the internet, but I may make an exception here.

Yeah, really. Kudos to the Flyers for convincing him to come to the States.

And they finally have more GF than GA, with a +2

St. Louis has a +70

Just be sure to have it end in regulation.

These 3 point games are killer, not a huge fan of this point system.

I hate it. Teams play too conservatively.

I know it is still not the best group, but I gotta give Homer credit for what he has done for our defense over the past few season. With the whole Pronger situation, it really put him in a bad spot.

Our defense is pretty mobile, but plays sound defensively. The MacDaddy acquisition has looked great so far. We have some interesting prospects in Haag, Morin, Ghost. Now if he can go and land Folin...

After the recent afternoon games, which normally give me anticipatory agita, I'm not as concerned as usual.

Great news about hagg!! Can't wait to watch the phantoms blue line next year with hagg and gostidbehre likely in the mix in lehigh valley! Beats the hell out of watching gervais, Blake kessel, Marshall etc etc.

I can't believe the flyers didn't get a PP after the berube incident with the ref

Exactly. I don't blame them either for playing for OT cause it is the smart strategic move. But it really does ruin these 3rd periods of a tie game.
